ABOUT
ROBERT:
Robert is a third generation auto technician. His Father and
Grandfather had their own shop in Holiday. They taught Robert
“Value and service is far more important than the cheapest
price. People forget about the price before they forget about
the quality of the job. If you fix the vehicles’ problem,
the price doesn’t so much, make a difference.”
HIS BEST AUTOMOTIVE STORY:
I bought a 1996 Chevy S10 Pickup. I noticed that it was shifting
strange. I took it back to the dealership I’d bought it
from. They replaced various parts and gave it back to me, but
that didn’t fix the original problem I brought it in for.
I brought it back to them, again and they rebuilt the transmission.
It still didn’t fix the problem. I checked the problem myself,
and found the ground circuit problem in the circuit boards of
the computer. Upon return returning it to the place I bought it
from, they decided to send it to the dealership. The dealership
called me to confirm what the problem was, and I told them about
the erratic shifting. I also, told them I was an ASE
Certified Technician and that I’d diagnosed the problem
and “pin-pointed” it to being a bad computer. The
next morning, they called me and told me they replaced the bad
computer and the problem was solved.
