Tim Cooper - Owner of Cooper's Automotive

Tim entered into the automotive field straight out of high school in 1982, which gives him 23 years experience. He is an ASE re-certified technician (see wall of fame). He was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. Being a business owner was Tim’s long-time dream, which has now come true. He has been a business owner for ten years in the same location in Clearwater, Florida.

HIS BEST AUTOMOTIVE STORY:

It’s hard to choose the best because there’s so many. But, I remember once when a customer had been having a problem with a car they had taken to various shops to have it repaired with no satisfaction. This car's service engine light kept coming on. It ended up being a minor repair. All we had to do was remove an airflow sensor and clean it. Problem solved; customer satisfied.

WHAT HE LIKES ABOUT HELPING CUSTOMERS:

What I like best is teaching my customers the importance of preventative maintenance, and how it can save them money in the long run.

FAVORITE RACE CAR:

My favorite race car would be a 1969 Shelby Mustang.

HOBBIES:

I like fishing, hiking, camping, and bicycle riding.
