About Tim Cooper – Owner and Founder of Coopers Automotive Repair:

Tim entered into the automotive field straight out of high school in 1982, which gives him 38 years experience. He is an ASE re-certified technician. He was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. Being a business owner was Tim’s long-time dream, which has now come true. He has been a business owner for twenty years in the same location in Clearwater, Florida.

His Best Automotive Story:

It’s hard to choose the best because there’s so many. But, I remember once when a customer had been having a problem with a car they had taken to various shops to have it repaired with no satisfaction. This car’s service engine light kept coming on. It ended up being a minor repair. All we had to do was remove an airflow sensor and clean it. Problem solved; customer satisfied.

What He Likes About Helping Customers:

What I like best is teaching my customers the importance of preventative maintenance, and how it can save them money in the long run.

Favorite Race Car:

My favorite race car would be a 1969 Shelby Mustang.

Hobbies:

I like fishing, hiking, camping, and bicycle riding.
